Comparative Conversational Analysis Of The Television Talk Show Programs In "Art Life" And "A Date With Luyu"

"Art Life" and "A date with Luyu" is the hottest continent in recent years, andthe most successful tranches of television interview programs. Both of the programsare similar in the form and style,interviewed by a host,one or more guests to beinterviewed,and a little interaction with the audiences,the conversations are dominatedlife experiences of the guests.For TV talk show currently,it is more focused on the study of the spread of thefield,few studies on the books and papers analyze television talk show from theperspective of linguistics view,especially from the perspective of conversationanalysis study of television talk shows.In this paper,we use conversation analysis theory to analyze from the perspectiveof specific aspects such as topic words,words and style.By analyze these twoshows,we compare the commonness and individuality of them and tries to explore theforming reason.From the linguistics sight,we analyzes the reasons of two shows whythey are success and enlightenment they give us.It helps hosts and even us better useall kinds of conditions in the life and practice to adjust the language behavior.Thepaper use closely pragmatics,speech communication-related knowledge,conversationstructural analysis theory,combine social linguistics,speech communication withpragmatic principles. Thesis has fully reflected the specific use of conversationanalysis theory.This paper is divided into the following sections: Introduction,the comparison ofwhole conversation structure,the comparison of locally conversational structure,thesession differences and conclusion.Finally,the paper concluded that:"Art Life" and "A date with Luyu" these kind ofthe emotional TV talk show,the host have strongly control of the topic and turn.Butbecause the program is set up,the influence of social factors such as gender,personality,even the same guest,the same content of the session, the host will bedifferent on the topic selection,words round transformation way,word interrupt method,etc.The structure of "Art Life" is rigorous,the host of program controlsstrongely;"A date with Luyu" is easy,the overall structure is more flexible."Art Life"have more artistic topic choice,subject of cohesion is relatively compact, turn is alitter longer;The topic in "A date with Luyu" is focus on daily life,the words isshorter.Host in"Art Life" are generous,calm and steady,his body language is less,thespeaking speed is slow;"A date with Luyu" shows the host’s strong affinity, herlanguage is vivid, fast-talking, intonation and her body language is rich.
