In the1930s, the German philosopher Martin Heidegger made the famousstatement “the times of world image”----“World image is not a picture of the world,but means the world is full of pictures”,which indicates that an era of image will come.With the development of visual culture and photographic techniques, Heidegger’spredictions become a reality, we have ushered in an era which is full of image. Weiboalso conforms to the trend, gradually dominated by a text message over to theimage-driven. Image microblogging is characterized by its convenient of releasing andtransferring of information, its appeal and cross-border nature.The relationship of graphic images and text from the beginning has been theobject of attention. It is elegant, the image appeared earlier in the text, the earliestwritten Oracle is evolved from the image. In a very long period of time, the text on thegraphic has been in a dominant position, and the image as a supplementary text in asubordinate position. With the development of image language, graphic graduallyproduced a change in the relationship with Roland Bart’s words, the relationshipbetween image and text can basically be divided into two types, one is the leading text,another is image and text interdependent and complementary. Roland Bart’sperspective emphasizes the dominant of the text, does not explicitly mentioned theimportance of the image.This article will be placed under the the environment of imagemicroblogging era, and figure that the “image Weibo” has already released to occupy adominant position through the content and form analysis of microblogging, whichmeans the image clearly important in the microblogging platform.The first benefit of microblogging’s combined image and text is to make it easierto be recepted by microblogging people, which could attract attention andclick-through rate; The second is to eliminate the uncertainty of the meaning of theexpression. The expression of the way though a combination of images and text is easy,but we should also note that the blindly worship of image and the “cold” of the textalso have some undesirable consequences. The first one is that the superficial readingand expression of the image and the ignorance of text makes that the aestheticexperience is gradually giving way to sensual pleasures, meaning gradually giving wayto sensory stimuli, which results in a “populist” approach to visuals and culture.Secondly, the means by which microblogging spreads are always an expression offragmentation, personal, emotional, likely to cause distortion of information distortion, but also creates opportunities for a false image.
