Design Of Intelligent Home System Based On Wireless Sensor Networks

With the development of the Internet of Things (IOT), intelligent home system,as one of nine IOT demonstrate application, has developed rapidly as well. The maindisadvantages of traditional intelligent home system are poor flexibility with cablingtechnology and difficult to install and maintain. The communication mode transformfrom cable transmission technology to wireless transmission technical means,achieving the characteristics including extensibility and easy to maintain with theintroducing of wireless sensor network in the intelligent home system.To overcome the shortcomings of unidirection and single function of the presentwireless intelligent home system, the framework of bidirectional wireless intelligenthome system was investigated in this study. Two types of smart appliances systembased on CC1100wireless sensor network and ZigBee wireless sensor networkrespectively are designed as good solutions to the problem of without feedback andinability of self-network. The innovation of the present research focus on three points.Firstly, the passive detection has been converted to active monitoring with theintroducing of the GSM network. Secondly, a new type of lighting control way basedon ZigBee wireless sensor network and a new type of intelligent lamp holder aredeveloped in this study. Thirdly, some intelligent control terminal such aspronunciation recognition and wireless remoter have been applied in the system.The weakness of unidirection and single function has been solved in theintelligent home system based on CC1100wireless network including the maincontrol module and the terminal control module. The introduced GSM network act asan external control network. The stability and reliability of the network has beenverified on G-Home platform. The weakness of inability of self-network has beensolved in the intelligent home system based on ZigBee wireless network, includingfamily gateway, intelligent lamp holder and other parts of the intelligent terminal.The location problem of the intelligent terminal can be solved effectively with PCinterface design. More control mode such as the GPRS module and pronunciationrecognition module have been imported as well. In addition, a new type of intelligentlamp holder, which solves the problems including the single-fire switch power supplyand zero-fire switch need rewiring, has been researched.The investigation carried out in this work has a remarkable practical significance and broad application prospects meeting the actual application requirements.
