Prism Framework And Its Application In Sample Management System

Science of the Ocean is the knowledge system about natural phenomena,property, variation, development and utilization of the ocean. Cognizing, developingand using the source of ocean have become an important proposition for manycountries, if they want to solve the environment-related issues and safeguardnational interests. During the ocean research process, field data and samplesobtained with the long-term accumulation are the basic elements to launch oceanscientific research.China Ocean Sample Management System is responsible for processinginformation and data of ocean research sample. It focuses on sample life cyclemanagement. The business processes can be divided into samples collected on board,statistics, management and distribution, as well as indoor sample statistics, codemanagement, inventory management, and the distribution of the test sample andthe sample data related to the late feedback management.In this paper, based on the Prism framework and combined with samplesMuseum workflow, I design and implement the client t of the China Ocean SampleManagement System, and describe the concept of event associated with the systemin detail. It constructs domain ontology event ontology with the ideology of ontology.It standardizes design and use of the software development process of the event.
