Cloud Computing is built on service as a new model of computing, which take advantage of powerful network, computing and storage. It can provide service of computing, storage and platform and has scalability and stability. Because it is virtual, hierarchical and dynamic, it is more complex than Distributed Computing. As a result, resource monitoring is essential for Cloud Computing and can supply guarantee for its service. So research of monitoring method under Cloud Computing is a meaningful job.Now there are several problems in resource monitoring under Cloud Computing environment as follows:(1)common monitoring frame usually focuses on one level resource or service and can not provide comprehensive monitoring under Cloud Computing environment.(2)There are some customized monitoring frame working well in specialized Cloud Computing environment and they can not apply commonly.(3)Combined pull-push model is used in monitoring system, but its efficiency is not very high because of this model produce some extra cost for the system.We do some work to solve these problems aforementioned:(1)We research further in resource monitoring under Cloud Computing environment to extract the system model and describe the structure of monitoring system and its service.(2)Next we point out what kind of indicators should be monitored after analyzing the service of Cloud Computing level and its energy efficiency and design the monitoring proxy.(3)Then we analysis the problem existing in combined pull-push model and propose method to resolve this problem. In order to compare our method with existing method, according to our proposed four indicators we do some experiments to verify our method’s availability.(4)In the end, we describe the process of data and design the structure of processing.
