Recently, achievement reports appear into us by the mass media frequently. It is always be endowed the meaning to show the discipline to the mass, inspire the people and lead the direction of the public opinion. However, as the theme of the achievement report is so limited that it always be regarded as the "fuddy-duddy" which can hardly get big innovation. So, how to let the "old" achievement report become "brand new", the analysis and the summarize of the development progress is very important. This paper will use the diachronic analysis to study the progress of the achievement report according to the time sequence.This paper choose the achievement reports in People’s Daily which published before the annual party congress from1956to2012by the Xinhua News Agency as the sample of the research to do the specific analysis.During the text analysis, this paper use the framing analysis to study the sample from the three aspect—high, middle, low to get a comprehensive understanding about the differences. And through these differences this paper is trying to find out more information behind it.Through the quantitative analysis from multiple perspectives,this paper summarize the massification and the modernization as the trend of the progress of the achievement report. And suggest that the achievement report should use some new concept to play its public role to get better.、In the high frame analysis,this paper focus on the setting of the themes and study it from the entire to the deep.In the middle frame analysis,this paper aims at the type and content of the sample to do the research,and meanwhile divided the content as scene frame and theme frame.In the low frame analysis, this paper stand on the view of the pragmatics and mix some rhetoric to study the sentences in many different aspects.
