Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has the advantages of high resolution, strong wearfull, all-weather, all-time and other advantages, in military reconnaissance, militarysurveying and mapping, marine monitoring, resource survey, environmental monitoringand other fields have a wide range of applications. SAR imaging system has goodcoherence, system need not only the amplitude of the signal information, also need to becoherent signal phase information to improve the resolution and imaging. SAR image isreceiving terrain scattering echo coherent signal formed by superimposition of the specklenoise, therefore highly sensitive. Speckle noise influence image processing and interpreting,so removing the speckle noise of SAR image processing is an important basic steps.Speckle noise of SAR image post processing is very important.This article is SAR image noise suppression method of speckle noise, as well as thesource of several SAR image speckle noise suppression and filtering algorithm to do theanalysis, the comparison of different algorithms, based on the SAR images using differentmethods (wavelet transform, median filter, frost filter, Fourier transform,contourlettransform) made a comparison.
