Machine Rooms are the places where enterprises and public institutions storeservers, providing services for users and staffs. With the continuous expansion of thescale in enterprises and public institutions, machine rooms are expanded as the same,and they are often located in different places. As the rapid development of sensors,microelectronics and other technologies, more high-quality and high-performancemachine rooms monitoring equipments are applied widely, the requirements havebecome higher and higher for performance, function and expandability of the machineroom monitoring system. The current machine room monitoring system is only for PC,therefore, users must find a host connected to the network to monitor, if hosts are notfound nearby, users are unable to monitor in real time, so the machine–room’s safetycan not be guaranteed.In order to carry out real-time management for the machine room and improvethe efficiency of machine room management, this paper analyzes and summarizes theexisting machine room monitoring, designs machine room monitoring system orientedto mixed terminal based on layered architecture, The system provides two kinds ofmonitoring platforms for PC and mobile terminals, both adopting C/S architecture.The PC terminal adopts component-based software design, and the application layercomponents include map navigation component, curves display component, videodisplay component, data list component, alarm management component and devicemanagement component, and components implement the data interaction throughstandard interfaces. The application layer in mobile terminal completes interactionwith database through web service interfaces provided by management layer, the mainmodules include map navigation, curves display, data list and alarm informationdisplay. It mainly designs and implements the data acquisition module in the server,and data acquiring server is deployed in every site, multiple sites acquire data in theparallel way, which improves the efficiency of acquisition. Meanwhile, the standard web service interfaces are published in the server, which implements the datainteraction between heterogeneous platforms.The machine room monitoring system designed by this dissertation provides twokinds of monitoring platforms: PC terminals and mobile terminals. The system hasstrong stability, stability and expandability, which is proved in practice. Moreover, ithas improved the safety factor of machine rooms and users’ management efficiency,which realizes monitoring without a few even no one on duty in machine rooms.
