Yueyang Tower Virtual Space Design Based On Arduino And Experience Research

Yueyang Tower is an outstanding representative of ancient architecture in China.It not only embodies the harmonious relationship China ancient architecture ancientchinese architecture and nature, but also carries patriotism of Chinese poet.In thispaper, we use arduino and TrackIR to realize on the construction of the YueyangTower virtual space.Yueyang Tower space contains four factors, geographical space, architecturalspace, cultural space and other factors. In the geographical space, Yueyang Tower is inbetween the Yangtze River and the Xiang River, close to Dongting Lake, can see theJunshan. In architectural spaceYueyang Tower is the three layers of the lifting beamtimber structure, the roof is cornice type structure, the top floor is the helmet typestructure. In the cultural space, the cultural spirit of Yueyang Tower is inherited andtransmitted by the generations of poets in history.Digital media era, We should make full use of digital technology to inheritanceYueyang Tower culture,It can be achieved by several steps, Firstly We use3DMaxand Unity3D to realize the construction of Yueyang Tower sand table and virtualscene. Secondly, using arduino to control the virtual scene and using the TrackIR toachieve the roaming by user perspective. threely realization of3D scene renderingusing the ink rendering shader. Finally, through the construction of the YueyangTower virtual space user experience model to test and evaluation. By the analytic theuser experience questionnaire to test and evaluation of Yueyang Tower virtual space,through the analysis of the results, evaluation of Yueyang Tower virtual space in thelearning effect, effect of identity and other aspects,so as to explore the disseminationof traditional culture by digital technology.To sum up, the design of Yueyang tower virtual space which is based on arduinoexplores the way to spread Chinese Yueyang Tower culture through the virtualdisplay.Yueyang Tower exhibition combining the sand table and the virtual scene,more in line with user’s original cognitive style, has good body experience,helps theuser access to information. The roaming, visual, interactive Yueyang Tower exhibitionnot only is an exploration of the digital protection Chinese pavilion space. At the sametime, has help in the dissemination of Chinese Pavilion culture, and help youngpeople to learn about the traditional culture of chinese pavilion.
