In recent years, our country’s highway construction is developing rapidly. With the deepdeveloping of highway construction, the engineer condition of key areas is more complex; atthe same time, the introduction of new equipment and new technology makes the constructiontechnology more and more complex too. The construction quality is difficult to guarantee,because of the problems such as hard construction condition and the increasing difficulty of it.As the information transmission channel is not smooth and the working efficiency is low, thetraditional quality supervision methods like on-site inspection and testing can be difficult totimely and effectively monitor the construction quality. The continuous development ofinformation technology promote the quality supervision of transportation infrastructureconstruction apply Information Construction to manage.The Internet of things is once again revolution in information technology after thecomputer and internet. It is an important part of the new generation of information technology.This paper present a scheme for remote monitoring system for synovial pave constructionbased on IOT, that gathering the key parameters’ data which affecting the construction qualitythen transmitting, analyzing, judging and feedback, meanwhile realizing video monitoring forsome important working area of paver. Building the measurement and control informationmanagement, analyzing, and feedback system to control the construction quality with the waythat combining the data monitoring and video monitoring. The main contents of this paper areas follows:1.Introducing the mechanical structure of synovial paver and construction technologyprinciple, then studying the pavement construction process, analyzing the common defect ofpavement construction and its quality requirement, last confirming the main objective ofmonitoring system and put forward the design scheme of the system.2.Field data acquisition module is designed. The data acquisition module of Constructionparameters uses AT89S52as micro controller, sensor to acquire construction parameter dataand then the data enters GPRS wireless transmission module after processed by the MCU. Video signal acquisition use P2P network camera and video data will be compressed by itsinternal effective compression chip DSP.3.Wireless transmission module is designed. The transmission of construction parametersdata and video data uses GRRS/3G wireless network module. This module sends the data tothe remote monitoring center from the construction site.4.The remote monitoring center module is designed. This module uses the Visual Basiclanguage to develop PC monitoring software to receive, display, storage and analysis the datatransmitted through wireless network in order to realize remote monitoring for synovial paveconstruction.
