Navigation anti-jamming receiver often use airspace and space-time anti-jammingtechnology, because they could receive navigation satellite signals while suppressingbroadband and narrowband interference.The antenna array airspace and space-timeanti-jamming technique is to use the characteristics of beam control of the array so thatit can form deep nulls of the array pattern where the DOA of interference signal is, inthis way the performance of array directly affect how many interference signals thereceiver can suppress in one time as well as the intensity the signal is. Microstripantenna with its small size, light weight, easy carrier conformal, easy to implementmulti-polarization and multi-frequency work, etc. is widely used in navigation receiver.Microstrip antenna is a kind of antenna with strong directional characteristics, and theminiaturization process of the antenna array lead to bandwidth narrowing, mutualcoupling enhancing, the ground plate affect largely and so on. All these factors wouldaffect the consistency of the antenna array. In this background, in order to improve theconsistency of the antenna array, the research is spread from the following aspects:(1) This paper analyzed that the antenna radiation pattern within broadband appearssmall deviations about2o~5°or even more larger in the case of bandwidth-constrained,this deviation will lead to inconsistencies of the location larger than5°and depth of thenulls during antenna array integrated,thereby affecting the ability to reject widebandinterference of the antenna array. Also studied the influence of the width of the antennabeam to antenna array null, in the case of the antenna bursts type constant broad beamcause decline of the depth of null of antenna array pattern so that wide-beam antennaarray will weaken anti-jamming capability of antenna array in the low elevation.(2) Miniaturized antenna array has mutual coupling problem and the impact of theground plate under conditions that size is limited, so the paper studies the antenna arrayradiation performance reason from mutual coupling and effect of the ground plate bythe antenna relative location. The results show that ground plate edge effect causedpattern of the array element at the edge offset, also radiation gain declining and beambroad. Mutual coupling causes the array element pattern, polarization, and impedanceperformance anomalies. Extreme cases, the antenna array is degraded by the circularpolarization to the linear polarization, and easily lead to back-end LNA moduleself-excited, etc.problems.While the environment is different between array elements,mutual coupling effect as well as the ground plate edge effect will be various so thatlead to the performance inconsistencies between the array elements.(3) Integrated the inducement of inconsistencies between the antenna arrayelements and based on the application of the antenna array works, bandwidth wasoptimized combining thick dielectric substrate and wide matching chip, the measuredimpedance bandwidth of B3antenna (frequency1268.52MHz) using the dielectricsubstrate with dielectric constant16. Then the paper provides a kind of pattern optimization method based on columnar ground. By adjusting the height and radius ofthe column on the one hand the element beamwidth can be controlled, the3dB beamwidth adjustment range is up to10o, on the other hand offset problems of pattern causedby the edge effect can be corrected.(4) This paper developed a automatic test system using multi-channel vectornetwork analyzer based on laboratory conditions with which the antenna arrayamplitude and phase difference between elements can be finished in one measurement,so that to improve the miniaturization microstrip antenna plane array testing efficiencyand reduce the complexity of the data processing.The results of this research can be directly applied to kinds of Beidou militaryanti-jamming receivers, navigation direction finding receivers and some other deviceswith same characteristics in any other fields.
