With the development of high-tech industries, the network control system, which is called NCS for short, is more widely used in industrial control. In the NCS,the phenomenon of packet loss often occurs, and may cause the instability of overallsystems. In this dissertation, we aim to design stabilizing controller so that theclosed-loop NCS is stable irrespective of the occurrence of packet loss. In thisdissertation, independent random variables are used to build the model of NCS withpacket loss. It converts the packet loss to the change of the control input. There arethree situations for the location that packet loss occurs. Every situation must beconsidered. The stability of the state feedback NCS and output feedback NCS isinvestigated by using Lyapunov functions and Lyapunov stability theory, and thefeedback control law is designed upon it to make the closed-loop system stable.Meanwhile, packet loss with different possibility is researched, the maximum of theprobability of packet loss is found out based on the simulation example. The core innovation of this paper is the use of the random varible, whichconverts the packet loss to the change of the control input, so that the amount ofcalculation is reduced.
