Nowadays, our country has entered the aging society, Along with the rising elderly population, Elderly care problem increasingly prominent. The current elderly care facilities and services in China and far cannot satisfy the need of the old. Therefore, Development suitable for the old People’s Daily bathing personal health care robot has important social significance and practical value. In this paper, we study the rubbing system is an important part of individual health care robot, because the rubbing mechanism is the most close physical contact with the bath. Its design is reasonable will directly relates to the success or failure of the whole individual health care machine.This dissertation focuses on the research of seat-rubbing system, which facilitates the elderly to help them rub the back and legs when they are seated. The machine can also facilitate the elderly to rub the hip when they keeps a standing posture with the assistance of the machine. The rubbing system is composed of four modules: standing-assistance module; back-rubbing module; hip-rubbing module and leg-rubbing module.1) Design the overall program of the rubbing system according to the analysis of human body rubdown simulation and the requirements of personal care robot program.2) On the basis of ergonomics, apply modularized manner to the mechanic structure design of the four modules. With the assistance of the three dimensional software—Solidworks, conduct three dimensional model building of the mechanic structures of each module, and carry out virtual assembly of these modules on Solidworks to check the mutual interference of the modules.3) Utilize analysis software ADAMS to conduct kinematics and dynamics simulation of back, hip and leg rubbing modules, and conduct dynamic simulation of standing assistance module. Operate idle running of the experimental prototype rubdown machine in order to inspect any error of the modules, and make further improvements. Ultimately health care robot rubbing system has been designed with general design requirements. Solve the problem of the elderly in bath in the process of rubbing and improve the quality of life of the old age.
