Phased array radar is more widely applied with its beam fast scanning, the agility of thebeam shape, and the multi-beam forming capabilities. To maximize the performance of thephased array radar, an effective resource scheduling algorithm must be designed. Meanwhile, inthe designing of the scheduling algorithm, the time constraints of task execution and theaccessibility problems of resources caused by rotating need to be considered for the dual-bandrotating phased array radar, as well as the coordination and advantageous complementarities witheach other for the two fronts. Therefore, it is more difficult for the algorithm designing of thedual-band rotating phased array radar than that of the non-rotating phased array radar.Currently, there are some news reports on the dual-band rotating phased array radar facilityaboard, but no literature related to the scheduling algorithm both at home and abroad. For theusage requirements of the dual-band rotating phased array radar, a more complete resourcescheduling algorithm was designed in this paper. It included the selection and design of workingparameters, the establishment of task models in the rotating cases, the design of the integratedtask priority of the two fronts, the task scheduling algorithm of a single front, and the strategyadjustment of operating mode when resources limited. Co-simulation for the above mentionedaspects was conducted in this paper and the results demonstrated the effectiveness of thealgorithm.The main work as follows:1. For the designing of the radar operating parameters in the searching mode, a partitionoptimal search algorithm was proposed;2. For the rotating characteristics of radar, a model of beam residing task in the rotatingcase was established;3. For the emphasis on different space tasks from the two fronts, a designed method for theintegrated task priority including the space priority was proposed;4. For the task scheduling of a single front, a window task scheduling algorithm thatlimiting the time deviation rate in order to improve the utilization of time was proposed;5. For the constraints of radar resources under saturation attack, strategy adjustments ofradar operating modes were designed.
