Facing the current situation that most of the urban and rural works for educationinformationalization have insufficent talents and funds, an urgent problem rises around how toefficiently use the advantages of urban education informationalization, which is relatively inthe lead, and use the new media techniques such as the mobile Internet, to support theeducation in broad towns and countries, and to realize the share and balanced developments ofurban and rural education resources. To build up a unified and open platform of educationcloud is laying a foundation to satisfy this kind of requirements.The research project of this thesis is mainly for the individual requests of the educationcloud which suit the teaching to the ability of the students. It uses the dual-layer virtualnetwork architecture: the support layer in the bottom side is made up of real hardwareequipments which form the VM container clusters, and the business layer in the top side ismade up of VM clusters. The support layer only provides computing resources to the businesslayer and keeps it running. It doesn’t provide services to the outside directly. The businesslayer bears all the tasks. Based on the dual-layer architecture, the project researches andimplements the key techniques of distributed storage, concurrent computation for big datastatistical analysis, and so on.Since the functions of current open-source software can’t completely satisfy therequirements of the platform design for the education cloud, parts of the key techniques needR&D by ourselves. The author of this thesis participates in the R&D team work and achievesthe framework design of education cloud, the security technique of rotational stations, theparallel technique of big data compression, and the terminal technique of remote desktops.1. The Framework Design of Education CloudA typical platform system is desined and implemented for the education cloud which arenamed “Wise Eye Cloud”. This platform uses dual-layer virtual network architecture, whichdivides the network into two layers: The virtual support platform is built on the real hardwarein the bottom layer, and the business layer is built on the support layer. Such education cloudhas outstanding behavior in the expansibility, flexibility, security, efficiency and so on. Thesystem implements are based on the open-source software, while the key design and parts ofthe core programs are researched and developed by ourselves. Meanwhile, the platform alsosupports business software. This architecture can adapt the requirements of the education cloud in different areas. Now the techniques of Wise Eye Cloud have successful pilotapplications in Guangdong, and the effects are satisfying.2. The Security Technique of Rotational StationsTo improve the security level of the education cloud platform, and strengthen the defenseabilities of the cloud platform system, the author participates in the R&D work of a securitysystem based on rotational stations in the virtualized computing environments.This systemuses dual layer network architecture. The VMs in its business layer like guards in therotational station. They switches regularly between foreground and background through thevirtual router. The rotated background VMs can automatically recover and switch back to theforeground. This is implemented by the real equipments in the support layer. The experimentresults reveal that this system can automatically clean the attack effects in the VMs in5minutes, and recover the normal system status.3. The Parallel Technique of Big Data CompressionTo improve the compression and encryption performance in the processes of storing andtransmitting various resouce data in the eduction cloud, the team of this project presents acombined parallel algorithm named “CZ algorithm”, which can compress and encrypt the bigdata efficiently. The author participates in the design of the parallel compressing assemblyline and the upgrade of the compression format. The experiment results support that in the bigdata compression, the software ComZip based on CZ algorithm can get higher compressionratio than WinRAR and7-zip, and it can be faster than7-zip.4. The Terminal Technique of Remote DesktopsThe author participates in the design and implement of the remote desktop plan for theeducation cloud, which can let the learners access the cloud remotely from various intelligentterminals. In the team of this R&D plan, the author focuses on the implements of twotechniques: The Android terminal accesses the Windows VM, and the Windows terminalaccesses the Linux VM. These two techniques are both based on the RDP protocol, which canensure the uniformity of the cloud platform system, and achieve the good compatibility thatcloss-platform intelligent terminals(iOS/Android/Windows/Linux) acess closs-platformVMs(Windows/Linux).
