With the continuous development of wireless communication network, the demand of the mobile users for data transmission speed as well as various kinds of wireless services is increasing. Thus, for the better solution of these problems, more attention should be paid on the research of the MIMO channel, in order to establish the channel model suitable for the multi-antenna system.In order to satisfy the demand of the system-level simulation platform for wider bandwidth as well as higher carrier frequency, and also considering the simplicity and downward compatibility to some extent, the SCME channel is modeled, so as to require a better combination with the platform and a reliable support for other modules in the system.In the course of the system-level simulation, as the complexity of the channel modeling is rather high and the time for simulation is too long, which will decrease the efficiency of the simulation. Thus, in order to solve this problem, a new way that can modify the course of channel modeling is presented, so as to save large amount of time during simulation and also increase the efficiency of the channel modeling. Finally, a comparison focuses on the time for simulation between the new modeling way and the theoretical way is presented, which can demonstrate that the new modeling way really do save large amount of time during simulation. Meanwhile, in order to verify the accuracy of the presented modeling method, the system-level calibration for the platform is carried out, which can further demonstrate that the time-saving solution also acquires a rather high accuracy.
