For the word of Folk Collection, it’s not difficult to find its true meaning no matter from literal meaning or from comprehension of its definition, that’s cherishment and collection of historical relics or any object which can express cultural characteristics. Folk Collection trade in no sense, only belongs to one country or an individual. Since the ancient times, folk collection has been the maximal guarantee for various collections being able to thrive to this day and the biggest channel for collections circulation. At present, relic collection has entered life of plain citizens who start pursuing relic collection activities which were exclusive to high-ranking officials before. So far, folk collectors are still active in various regions in Sinkiang, whereby the region with largest scale and of greatest cultural characteristics is Kashgar region. Kashgar,which is the core area of Silk Road and an old city of long history and rich exotic culture as well as an important transportation junction of Silk Road, has always given full play to its effect of important historical culture and economic development by virtue of its unique geographical location and humanist tradition. It has been the largest cultural distributing center on the Silk Road since the ancient times, which results in gradual development of its resplendent charm and endless vitality after historical and cultural precipitation. All of above have laid a good foundation of development of folk collection industry in Kashgar region.Uyghur folk collection is all-inclusive, its enthusiasts also present different social hierarchies, forming its own folk collection system and an industrial structure which integrates collection and sale. As the region with the most frequent and most representative Uyghur folk collection, Kashgar has collected a large number of people who love folk collection. Around business circles surrounding the ancient city of Kashgar, they have formed a group of folk collection enthusiasts either aiming at individual collection or opening shops for management. The introduction section introduced concept, study method, study idea and study methods both home and abroad involved in this study. Section One analyzed subjective and objective conditions for the formation of Uyghur folk collection enthusiasts and its organizational structure. Section two mainly expounded social network and inheritance mode of Kashgar Uyghur folk collection enthusiasts. Section three analyzed types and characteristics of Kashgar Uyghur folk collections. Section four elaborated contemporary development and developmental plight of Kashgar folk collection industry. And then drew the conclusion.
