The Independent college is an important innovation in the process of popularization of higher education in our country. With the deeply cooperation of social education power and the traditional colleges and universities, it overcomes the dependence on national finance, and creates a new situation of the private higher education. Developing for 20 years, the independent college has provided a large number of talents for the society, and it has made an indelible contribution to meet the demand for higher education talents in China’s economic and social development.At the same time, Independent college graduates suffer some degree of discrimination when they are looking for jobs. Even though the form of discrimination is normal for high school graduates, it still has some differences. Discrimination against independent college graduates, inevitably affects the sustainable development of the independent college, and directly affects the development of higher education innovation measures.As a part of the national higher education system, Independent college graduates enjoy the same status in law with graduates of the traditional public colleges and universities. It goes against education fair and social justice that treating independent college graduates differently.Based on the literature analysis, case study, empirical analysis and other research methods,the thesis integrates the employment discrimination and unfair employment theory at home and abroad, and defines the concept of employment discrimination and unfair employment. Taking graduates in Zhongyuan institute of technology, information and business college as an example, this thesis systematically summarizes employment discrimination phenomenons,types,and reasons for the independent college graduates in our country, And this thesis proposes the "package" of measures to promote fair employment from the perspective of law, management, education. These measures include the following aspects. First of all, The relevant departments should complete the fair employment legislation, and formulate anti-discrimination law to improve labor administrative rules, and modify the corresponding legal laws and regulations,the employment discrimination and regulations, and give full play to the role of the law on employment discrimination. Second, in order to build fair employment in the whole society, enterprises should undertake the social responsibility of the fair employment, and the parent university should play a greater role in the employment of independent college graduates, and the media should guide the public not to discriminate independent college graduates; Finally, independent college should strengthen the construction of its own, clear its status, and expand the university-enterprise cooperation mechanism. And independent college should strengthen the employment guidance services, and make career planning, legal consciousness, innovation spirits to promote the college.The thesis has the following new ideas. First, the thesis focuses on the independent college graduates. Domestic researches on college students’employment are largely directed at key universities and ordinary undergraduates. The thesis focuses on the independent college graduates and study its employment discrimination. Second, it analyzes the cause of employment discrimination in the independent college. The existing researches have some problems:more theory analysis, few data examples, paying more attention to system analysis, and neglecting operation guarantee. Based on the fair employment theory, the thesis takes Zhongyuan institute of technology, information and business college as an example, and finds the different reasons and complex management of employment discrimination in the independent college through data collection and data analysis. Third, the thesis puts forward some feasible suggestions to improve employment problems in the independent college. From the internal system perspective, the thesis involves the education teaching reform, employment guidance system optimization, and so on. And from the external institutional perspective, the thesis involves the perfect legislation, the law enforcement and effective judicial.
