The sequence problems has been playing an important role in the college entrance examination. The methods used in the research are as follows: literature analysis, questionnaire survey, interview and text analysis. The aim is to establish the evaluation index system of the sequence problems in college entrance examination.First, we preliminarily propose 21 indicators to evaluate the sequence problems in college entrance examination combined with the relevant references from the “problem surface characterization, answer part(only considering the standard answer) and the guidance of the middle school teaching”; then we verify the rationality and completeness of the indicators by questionnaire and expert interview so as to improve and consummate the preliminary index, and we classify and quantificate the index according to the questionnaire and the interview of the expert, and eventually we form a quantitative evaluation index system of the sequence problems in college entrance examination; finally we make an evaluation on the sequence problems in college entrance examination(Jiang Su) of the previous years combined with the index.In order to describe the index conveniently, we devide the factors of the index into three levels as follows: the first index, the second index and the third index.Then we classify the index as the important index, less important index and general index according to the result of the questionnaire and the interview of the expert, and we quantificate the index according to the degree of each index. We refine every third-class index according to the actual condition. We divide every third-class index into three levels, then give weight to every index, so that the assessment of the sequence problems in college entrance examination may be practicable.Last but not least, we propose some suggestions on compiling and teaching sequence problems, meanwhile, we point out several shortcomings of this paper and some topics for further study.
