High school history teaching is an important part of basic education in our country, plays an important role to cultivate students’ humanities accomplishment, explore the core content in the history curriculum resources, develop the students’ historical consciousness is necessary and feasible.With the development of high school history curriculum reform, the deepening understanding of the history curriculum teaching, the cultivation of the students’ consciousness of history more and more attention. In 2003 and 2011 in the high school history curriculum standard explicitly to further develop the students’ historical consciousness, to look at problems from the view of history. For a long time, due to our education values differences in history, the cultivation of the students’ consciousness of history is not taken seriously. Namely in the study of the cultivation of historical consciousness today there are different points of view and understanding. With vague connotation of historical consciousness, so that people in the process of understanding and know him have some differences. This paper discusses the historical consciousness is the core of history teaching goal, developing students’ consciousness of history is the objective requirement of the historical education development.This thesis is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction part, the article discusses the historical consciousness in high school history teaching and cultivate the problems and the research significance, history education of cultivating the historical consciousness in domestic and foreign research present situation and research methods, existing problems and the measures to resolve. The second part is a summary of historical consciousness, mainly on the connotation and characteristics of historical consciousness and historical consciousness of high school history curriculum standard request, etc, on the basis of the analysis and understanding of historical consciousness has a self; In the third part is the high school history teaching to cultivate students’ consciousness of history overview, mainly includes high school students lack historical consciousness, analysis of the causes of the performance and high school students historical consciousness lack in historical thinking, historical concept, national consciousness and national consciousness and values; The fourth part is the focus of this article, the history teaching of middle school students’ historical consciousness training strategy. Its strategy mainly includes the general and specific policies, general strategy from the high school students the performance and the reason of the lack of historical consciousness, targeted measures are put forward. Specific strategy mainly from the history textbooks, history teaching methods and teachers’ consciousness of history and the history evaluation four aspects to discuss, to promote the cultivation of the students’ historical meaning. The fifth part is the conclusion, through the analysis of the front part, it is concluded that the cultivation of historical consciousness is the core of history education target, history teachers should take effective measures to cultivate the students’ historical consciousness. The sixth part is appendix, is an effective strategy in the concrete policy further instructions.
