Base on Parsons’ structural functionalism, i study the cultural function of ethnic minorities education in china with focusing on the Adaption, Goal attainment, Integration, Latency pattern maintenance of its culture. The cultural adaption of ethnic minorities education lies in: ethnic minorities education should fully adapt to the change of national ecological environment, including natural ecology, social ecology, cultural ecology and so on. We should take some effect means to change disadvantages to advantages. Thus we will find a new way which education for ethnic minorities and national ecological environment can mutual integration and promotion with each other. The cultural goal attainment of ethnic minorities education lies in: we should make a good relationship between the ultimate and the stage goal, moral and professional goal, official and non official goal, macro and micro goal. We should adopt effective measures against a series of mistakes during the process of achieving the goal of ethnic minorities education. Therefore, we cultivate moral, intellectual, physical, appreciate and all-round development of talent.The cultural Integration of ethnic minorities education lies in: according to the conditions of the education for ethnic minority, the category is : the integration of whole and part, the integration of mandatory and self, the integration of vertical and horizontal. The integration mainly includes: absorption, assimilation, fusion, pluralistic, transfer, innovation process, such as multicultural integration must be considered a multicultural objective factors--regional, national, ethnic, integrity, customs, religion, tradition and so on. The cultural latency pattern maintenance of ethnic minorities education lies in: it is safe to say that promote continuing education, innovation education, national education and life-long education make the new educational system to such an extent that we make all kinds of education normalization, standardization, legalization in order to deal the conflict between old and new values, foreign and national culture, values among teacher’s culture, student’s culture, curriculum’s culture, management’s culture, discipline’s culture, system’s culture, institutional culture, community’s culture. All in all, we believe our ethnic minorities education will have a bright future.
