The implementation of the new college entrance examination program in 2014, it has a very important influence on the ideological and political education and learning. This paper mainly through the literature analysis summed up objectively and fairly as far as possible the opportunities and challenges faced by the new college entrance examination in the ideological and Political Education. On the analysis of the new reform of the college entrance examination for the ideological and political education to bring new development opportunities,at the same time, analysis focus on the ideological and political education facing challenges under the new scheme of college entrance examination, thus according to the analysis of the reasons proposed corresponding solutions, hope for the ideological and political education can be better adapted to the new scheme of college entrance examination and put forward some suggestions.This paper first make a brief analysis on the new scheme of college entrance examination, summed up the new scheme of college entrance examination where is the “new”; and analyzes the theoretical basis of the new scheme of college entrance examination reform, but also reveals the status of the current ideological and political education teacher teaching, student learning and teaching effect.On this basis, this paper analyzes the development opportunities and severe challenges faced by ideological and Political Education under the new college entrance examination,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.In 2014 the introduction of the new college entrance program to make ideological and political discipline from the liberal arts college entrance exam compulsory subjects into account, the ideological and political teaching face more challenges than opportunities. This topic is mainly related to the relevant documents of the new college entrance examination program in Zhejiang Province, and combined with ideological and political education present situation, comprehensive analysis that the cause of Ideological and political education is facing challenges, mainly in the following four aspects: First, the concept of Ideological and political education needs to deepen reform; second, the traditional teaching methods and means need to innovate; third, ideological and political teaching evaluation system in need of reform; fourth, thought political lesson classroom teaching and management need to improve. This topic according to the above analysis derived challenges corresponding resolving measures are proposed, mainly in the following four aspects: first, a positive transformation of the concept of Ideological and political teaching; second, improvement and innovation in teaching methods and guide students to change the learning style; third, the design has the characteristics of teaching evaluation system; fourth, ideological and political teachers to constantly improve their own quality.
