Resilience is an ability that helps the individual psychology recover from abnormal to no rmal. It can be reflected from five aspects of the individual level, containing target focus, p ositive cognizance, emotion control, family support and interpersonal assistance.This article is divided into two parts. The first research is about the questionnaire about psychological resilience that 702 junior high school students in Urumqi No. 36 Middle Sch ool took. The second research is about intervention research on the 36 students as intervent ion targets that are selected from 25% of the students that rank at the bottom of the scor e in psychological resilience. Intervention process consists of 8 times, each of which takes about 1.5 or 2 hours. Mostly the intervention is developed from target focus, positiv e cognizance, emotion control, family support and interpersonal assistance, which is aim ed to improve the level of junior high school students psychological resilience and to prev ent campus crisis.The results of the study are listed as follows:1. The investigated junior high school students mental resilience is on the average leve l. Girls resilience level is generally higher than boys, which is mainly reflected in support.2. The psychological resilience level of Kazak junior high school students is significantl y higher than Han Chinese.3.The way of group counseling intervention is effective to improve the level of junior middle school students mental resilience, and applicable amalgamations, of Kazak and Han Chinese junior middle school students.
