Music education is an important part of quality education. It has great effect on the aesthetic ability, creativity, self-confidence, and the correct values of primary and secondary students. The state has carried out a series of reform and put forward some measures to make the music education risen steadily, especially for the publication and implementation of The New Music Curriculum Standard of Primary and Secondary Schools. All of the work they have done is to make more and more people realize the importance of music education. It has improved dramatically from strengthening the construction of teaching staff, the music of the improvement of the educational system and from students’ music activities. However, the development of music education in production and construction corps is unbalanced, which is caused by many reasons. Especially compared with the developed areas, there is still a big gap. Combining her own three years’ working experience in Corps 7th Nong primary school, the researcher investigates the students, music teachers and school leaders in Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools by using the methods of questionnaire, interviewing and observation. From the investigation, the researcher wants to find out the existing problems of Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools in music education. Then analyze of reasons and find out the results.The thesis is based on the working experience of the researcher. The researcher investigates the students, music teachers and school leaders in Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools by questionnaire. Then analyzing the status by using the SPSS Statistics. According to the analysis, the researcher finds there are many problems exists, which includes the lack of attaching importance to music education, the old education concept of the teachers,the lack of music teaching equipment, the lack of practical activities, the need of school-based curriculum and higher level in teachers’ scientific research. There are many problems in teachers. For example, the low level of professional quality in music teachers, the unfair treatment in salary, the poor ability in class management, the single evaluation system in music and the fewer chances of training. The social atmosphere affects the music education as well. For example, it is not supported by parents, the lack of excellent children songs, etc. Combining the current situation of Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools in music education, the researcher puts forward some suggestions, including call for the educational department attach importance to music education, put more supplies in music education, strengthen the teaching staff, improve the professional ability and class management of music teachers,call for the society care music education, etc.The thesis aims at calling for the students, teachers and school leaders of Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools to attach importance to music education. It is helpful for the Corps 7th Nong educational department to find out the problems they have in music education. Then they can analyze the reasons and find some corresponding suggestions and countermeasures for the Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools. The quality education and music education will be more perfect in these schools. It will promote the all-round development in the students of Corps 7th Nong primary and secondary schools.
