A Study Of College Students’ Value Education In View Of The Network Media

With the accompany of the Internet, the web media has already became one of themost important tools of today’s college students, which greatly has the impressiveinfluence on their life and studies. However, the web media is not only for passinginformation, it also remains the distinct advantages which the traditional legacy mediadoesn’t have, such as opening, entertaining, consuming etc. As a result, web media hasthe significant impact on the studying methods, the lifestyles and the thinking way ofcollege students, especially on their values. A value system is a set ofconsistent values and measures. A principle value is a foundation upon which othervalues and measures of integrity are based. However, as the majority of the web mediaand successor of socialism, the issue the influences of the web media on the collegestudents’ values has already attract the scholars and professors’attention.The paper firstly identifies the web media, values and the education of values,which based on the questionnaires and the analysis of the statistics collected from thequestionnaires. Then the paper analyses the arising usage of web media and the webmedia’s influences on values of college students, which focusing on characteristic ofstudents themselves, the distinct advantages of web media and the influencing factorsfrom the society, colleges and family education’s perspectives. Finally, on the basis ofthe influencing factors, the paper attempts to finds the patterns for the values educationof the college students and provides some social evidence for the relatively researches.
