| This paper aims to take561theses of sports humanities and sociology’s master degree of Beijing Sport University during the period of2002-2012for research sample,, using the three research methods (literature, expert interview, mathematical statistics) to analyze the development trend and the structure of topics selection during this period, by which can reflect the current situation; To find out the characteristics of topics selection, existing problems and to analyze the corresponding reasons; at the same time, by interviewing academic tutors and authors, to put forward the factors which influence the topics selection of sports humanities and sociology’s master degree thesis; finally, according to the above analysis concludes, we make its countermeasures and suggestions.By analyzing the topics selection on Sports Humanistic Sociology’s master degree thesis, we reach the following conclusions:During11years, the number of papers is on a rise as a whole, in which the number of2005-2007years accounted for the largest proportion. At the same time, the number of different direction tends to be polarization. From the research content of this thesis, its research area has ranged more widely but fine deficiency, and different direction become increasingly tied. The main research is dominated by basic research and applied research, among which, basic research accounted for a larger proportion. The majority theses use3-5research methods. The problem exist in the topic selection has too much study on current situation, largely scope, repetitive topic, lacking of integration and studying on special populations that is relatively inadequate.The main factors that influence the topic selection are the author’s interest, professional theory knowledge, the region, the tutor and so on. The optimization measures are to strengthen the graduate student’s quality, cultivate correct attitude, communicate with mentors and pay attention to the learning of basic knowledge. |
