The Preliminary Exploration Of The Combination Of Mao Zedong Military Thought And The Modern Athletic Sports

Mao Zedong military thought is the product which was the combination of Marxismmilitary theory and the practice of Chinese revolution. It creatively enriched and developedMarxism military theory, scientifically answered and successfully solved a series offundamental problems such as the Chinese revolutionary war, the people’s armyconstruction and so on. It is unique in the history of Chinese military history of China andthe world, and has important position in the scientific system of Mao Zedong thought. MaoZedong military thought inherited the Marxism scientific dialectical method. Its use is notonly limited to the military field, the essence, viewpoint and method of this thought canalso be applied to the modern athletic sports which is extremely similar to military field atthe biological level, social level, or philosophical level.In this paper, using the method of literature collection combined with the reality ofmodern competitive sports, with Mao Zedong’s military thoughts of scientific ideas,methods, from the construction of the people’s army and war command art combination ofcompetitive sports is the most important two aspects of sports training and sportscompetition. As the level of competitive sports material development in modern society ofdifferent countries in the world become more and more close, Mao Zedong militarythought which got the great success in military practice in the basis of the Chinese people’soriginal wisdom combined modern competitive sports, tries to form a new point of viewand perspective to explore a new way for the development of modern athletic sportsin-depth method.The results show that:(1) Mao Zedong military thought is inheritance and development of Marxismscientific dialectical method. In the form of philosophy method, it analyzes the variousfactors influencing the war the outcome, clarify the affect the internal cause and externalcause to war, and the contradictory relationship between the various factors, also putsforward the solution. (2) Mao Zedong military thought, on the basis of Marxism military theory combiningwith China’s actual method, constructed the new army which is different from that of anyhistorical period. Also combined with the practice of Chinese ancient military strategicthought, it puts forward a new theory of military command.(3) From the essence of modern competitive sports, manifestation, strategy and tactics,the philosophical level were analyzed, and it points out astonishing similarity between themilitary war and the modern athletic sports. The similarity mainly lies in two main aspectsof the army construction and movement; War command and athletic competitions.(4)It refers to the theory of Mao Zedong’s military thoughts of scientific, also refinesthe construction ideas and training methods which is suitable for modern competitivesports, then provides preliminarily a new method and train of thought to the developmentof modern athletic sports by incorporating them.
