With the advent of the internet information age, the internet havepenetrated into all aspects of human being’s social life, to effect onpeople, especially campus students’ way of thinking, behavior and values,such as efforts continue to grow. In the Internet era, how to use the Internetto enhance ideological and political education is that we need to face andsolve. As a double-edged sword, ideological and political education ofuniversity students under the internet environment has brought bothopportunities and challenges. So, in the spirit of seeking truth from factsideological and political education of the status and problems of collegestudents to analyze proposed improvement measures is an urgent need topromote the comprehensive development of students is the inherent requiresof the ideological and political education with the new development, butalso to promote the Information Age inevitable requirement university reformand development. This paper tries to ideological and political educationbased on the principles and methodology, drawing on the analysis anddissemination of research methods, management science, psychology and therest disciplines, through college students’ideological and politicaleducation status situation and problems of the summary and analysis,increase and improve ideological and political education of college studentscountermeasures.Paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction, this section introduces thebackground and significance of the topic, overview of the research statusand problems and deficiencies that exist, clarifies the ideas and methodsof this article. The second part discusses the basic concepts related to the ideological and political education, internet’s features, internet’sinfluence to college students. The third section discusses theopportunities and challenges in the network environment brought onideological and political education, describes the affection of theideological and political education of college students under the netenvironment, summed up the status and questions of the ideological andpolitical education on campus students, present college students’ideological and political education in internet has achieved some positiveresults, but also faces the loss of moral responsibility, regulatory andother aspects of the challenges more difficult. The fourth part presentsthe network environment to reinforce the ideological and politicaleducation’s countermeasures. This part of the Internet culture by improvingthe quality of college students, the three angles to strengthen ideologicaland political education of team building and creative ideological andpolitical education methods related to the network environment to discusscountermeasures.The final part, by means of discusses the blog, microblogging, letters, and other network carriers campus BBS meaning andcharacteristics, discusses how rational use of these vectors suggestionsand countermeasures.
