The core idea of new curriculum is "people-oriented" based on the develop ment of all the students and for all students’ development. The famous domestic and international educators advocate appreciation education. because of the unique huma nity and the requirements for languages teaching adaptation,therefore, it’s very sig nificant to apply appreciation education to transform the students with learning diffi culties during the junior middle school language learning. It is better able to carry out the new curriculum concept, appreciation education can help explore the "under achievers" potential, make its ability into full play, and,"appreciation education "more in line with the characteristics of physical and mental development of students wi th learning difficulties. languages appreciation education effect students’achievement in learning through the the medium of non intelligence factors, this paper analyzed the appreciation education and the transformation principle,measures and mechanis m of underachievers in junior high school language learningThis paper uses interviewing method to analyze the interviewing case of th e twelve jiujiang middle school student range from grade1to grade3so as to re alize The current situation of the application of the appreciation education in junior middle school language learning and the mainly reason for the existence of under achievers. After interviewing,the results indicate that teachers lack of awareness to praise students,and lack of the method of appreciation education and good appreciat ing evaluation. The cause of the lack of appreciation education in Chinese teaching of junior middle school is seriously influenced by the traditional education though t", a strict teacher produces a brilliant disciple", adverse impact of examination orie nted education and the influence of the teacher centered classroom teaching mode an d some educators did not master the method of appreciation education. The paper f inally puts forward the applicable strategies of using appreciation education to tran sform the "underachievers" in the middle school languages, junior high school lang uage teachers should try to promote the transformation of "underachievers" through t he "appreciation education", through changing the traditional education ideas,and str engthen communication with "underachievers",found their learning potential by chan ging the traditional educational idea; fully explore the appreciation factors in Chines e education resources, implement the appreciation education according to the stratifi cation and teaching content and avoid errors of appreciation education. This study not only further perfects the theory of appreciation education,but also provide the good guidance and reference for the transformation of "underachievers" in junior hi gh school language learning.
