The Memory Of A Rural Village In The Transition Of Society

Urbanization is the rural social evolution and the inevitable process of modernity and it is the only way which must be passed from traditional rural to modern urban civilization transition. Since the reform and opening to the outside world, under the country’s powerful discourse, series of earth-shaking changes have taken place in rural society in China, how to face and understand this change phenomenon of culture is a problem that academia must consider and discuss deeply. The obtained achievements of the new urbanization strategy and its cultural uniqueness have attracted many attention of the scholars from domestic and abroad involved in many subjects such as sociology, anthropology, political science and so on, a variety of theoretical perspectives appeared. Under the tide of modernization, industrialization and urbanization, the traditional rural society of China has experienced a development process from home court bearing package responsibility system, township business, the small town construction to the integration of urban and rural. With the restriction of the space structure of rural and the identity of the farmer is shifting, farmer’s subject personality, local consciousness and the cultural value and belief system of the rural society have taken place historic change. The rural social culture of China is facing unprecedented confusion and crisis, real writing the present rural and the changes of the rural culture has become a trend of new countryside narrative nowadays, it is also a hot issue that literature anthropologist must concern.The method of this study is the anthropological ethnographic fieldwork. The study try to put the rural cultural transformation in the context of China’s new urbanization, then turn it into a series of dynamic symbols to examine, describe urbanization construction under the background of village relocation and recombination of the entire process from the perspective of social memory and cultural change, to explore traditional village culture transition course, and further to put forward the new rural cultural construction thought.The full text includes introduction, text and conclusion three parts, and the text consists of three chapters.In the introduction part it mainly introduces the reason of selecting this topic and significance of the research. Basing on organizing relevant theories and research achievements of predecessors, it puts forward the research design and method of this article.The first chapter of the text is the background information of this article, is the general overview of the field point. It mainly from the point of time and space introduces the population, geographical environment, history and culture of the town, and makes a briefly introduction of the relevant information in the process of demolition and restructuring.Then the writer chose a big family of Z village, through field observation and verbal information collection, to describe the whole relocation history of the family in vivid detail, using this family’s moving story as the main line, to put the whole village and residents together with other departments, to point with surface, vivid and substantial, alluding the whole process of demolition and insinuation of the village. In this process of the residents, it tries to describe the transformation of their way of life and the mode of production emphatically after the reorganization of the space of life.The second chapter is sorting and analysis the field data of the previous chapter. It analyses the changes of the rural culture in-depth from the countryside geopolitical relations, identity, way of living and the transformation of the private network and so on. When the space structure of the country is broken, after against-be persuaded-accept, the villagers, their way of life and identity of cultural changes a lot.In the conclusion part, it mainly discusses the problems and the main points of the article, and it emphasis on new rural construction and rural cultural change seriously, and the prospect of a better future for new countryside.
