With the rapid development of scientific technology and life standard, people are attaching more and more importance to applied Mathematics. As a result, its status has improved correspondingly, so Mathematical modeling do takes place in our daily lives. However, what teachers and students are suffering form nowadays is that how we can put the idea of Mathematical modeling into daily teaching. Hence, they spare no effort to put mathematical modeling idea into function teaching in senior high school in order to cultivate exploration ability and mind creativity of students. Based on the above introduction, the paper mainly studies the mathematical modeling and typical application cases of basic function teaching. What’s more, it also put forward some advice and methods to effectively integrate modeling idea into function teaching in senior high school.
