Building Of "Sports Power" Evaluation System

This article built an evaluation system for strong sporting nation which include three dimensions(competitive sports, mass sports, sports industry) and12indicators by studying the basic meaning of strong sporting nation and analyzing the main features of strong sporting nation.The weight of each index is given by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This article combine the evaluation results of AHP with strong sporting nation development strategy, analysis the disciplines and period features about the development of China’s sports, find out the gap between major strong sporting nation and our country in the process of sports development, and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions, so as to provide reference for the realization of "strong sporting nation". The main conclusions of the study are:1、"Strong sporting nation" is a relatively comprehensive dynamic concept, is a comprehensive evaluation of a country’s overall sports development size and strength, have focused on the development of its focus in the field of different historical periods. With the development of our society, we also realize the dialectical understanding about "strong sporting nation".2、The world’s strong sporting nation lead sports development in the world, control of major international sporting events, and play a major role in promoting the development of sports, its specific features are as follows:excellent sports performance, a good basis for mass sports, and to coordinate the development of competitive sports, providing a new source of growth for the national economy by market-oriented sports industry.3、The evaluation system for strong sporting nation consists of three primary indicators (competitive sports, mass sports, sports industry) and12secondary indicators. The top weight of competitive sports shows that professional sports play a central role, which the competition is the main feature in today’s sports. The solid foundation of mass sports develops a wide range of consumer market for sports industry. And strong consumer market can promote the development of sports industry.4、the gap between China and the major world strong sporting nation:the overall strength in the world series, the management system and operation mechanism of, research and service team and scientific achievements in the field of competitive sports; the health of the national constitution, sports awareness of the prevalence, sports population rate, utilization of sports facilities in the field of mass sports, sports funding sources, the number of social sports instructors; the percentage of GDP produced in the sports industry, sports industry chain, the development of professional sports, the creation of sports brand, the sports brokerage media, sports consumption level, high-quality management personnel in the field of sports industry.5、This article provide related countermeasures from competitive sports、mass sports and the sports industry for the actual development of China sports: accelerating the full development of competitive sports, achieving the flourish of mass sports as soon as possible, forming a healthy and harmonious sports industry chain.
