With the media and the people were getting close, media information has becomea necessity in people’s lives. Media literacy gradually become a hot research topic inrecent years, but most of the research object of media literacy in China focus oncollege students, for the affected by the media’s biggest pupils rarely attention byscholars.They are in dire need of the ability about media information ofacquisition,selection,evaluation, participation and creativityThe perspective of new media, We study the characteristics, content andapplication of new media. How to make the use of new media can be the mosteffective to the media literacy education, Explore the specific implementation ofmedia literacy education teaching methods. It through the questionnaire survey toinvestigate primary school students at this stage of cognitive status of new media andmedia literacy. Last investigation conclusion: primary school students have access toall kinds of media information, also can show some media selection, evaluation ofliteracy, but these abilities are naturally formed, is out of the system.Through theliterature analysis method, We can understand the characteristics of the media literacyat home and abroad and all kinds of teaching mode, combined with China’s actualconditions and the characteristics of the elementary cognitive learning, designZhuanTiShi media literacy teaching mode that is suitable for our country. And wehope the application can use this model to elementary school in the practice of medialiteracy education. It Aimed at the development of our country’s media literacyeducation to provide some practical Suggestions.
