Since the establishment of the new China, the Hui culture changedextensively and profoundly under the background of global integration andnational culture never spread and exchange frequently close. This papertook the three generations of Cangzhou Botou Liuhe Quan martial artsfamily as a case study, Comprehensively using oral history, field researchand other methods to investigate the times and events related to materialarts in their life, attempted to take ups and downs of the threegenerations’ life course as miniature, restored the change context ofCangzhou Hui martial arts from the establishment of New China to nowadaysand provided people with a Hui martial arts change picture.By sorting the three generations’dictating materials, this researchmainly found that the generation of grandfather is "political coercedgeneration"; the generation of father is" to make the best use of resourcesand dare to innovate"; the generation of son is "the generation with amission while lost". Through the reduction and perspective the personalconditions and history of three generations from Liuhe Quan martial artsfamily, further findings from the study was Cangzhou Hui martial artschanges include phenotype culture changes and implicit culture changes,phenotype culture changes included martial arts inheritance fieldtransferred from mosque to dojo and school; the route of transmissiontransferred from words and deeds to multiple media communication; thetarget audience expanded from Hui audience to Hui-Han audience. Invisiblechanges presented the change trend from edges to center, from seekingcommon ground to reserving differences. In addition, the main stateideology-oriented transformation and change, the hui communitygeographical structure decentralized step by step and heterogeneouscultures disseminated were the chief inducements which lead to CangzhouHui martial arts changes. |
