In recent years, transformation of social work in our society is playing an increasingly important role in various fields of social work flourish, according to the author found that the medical field of social work because the complexity of the various cases, the current medical social work is still in using traditional methods of practice interventions, and the existing methods of social work enough to deal with increasingly complex clinical cases. Especially in the face because of mental or psychological disorders cause physiological stress in patients hospitalized with trauma, the traditional medical social work could do nothing, then in what way intervene in the case of the main course of treatment as well as social work interventions need to be further implemented method of operation excavations. This paper argues that when patients with psychological distress illness or mental stress, the use of narrative therapy can effectively alleviate the plight of the main case. Author of the research method selected case studies, and the label theory, symbolic interaction theory, on the basis of self-efficacy theory guiding narrative therapy involves medical social work. Upon completion of case studies on the two cases, the author summed up the narrative therapy process generic social work practice, summed up the narrative therapy in practice the advantages and disadvantages. I hope that through narrative therapy applied to the field of medical social work preliminary exploration, the development of medical social work practice to provide new ideas.
