In the accelerating period of social transformation, great changes have taken place intraditional marriage concept, resulting in family structure has also changed, increasingnumber of single-parent families. All kinds of contradictions and problems that exist in thedivorced single-parent families will inevitably cause certain influence to the adolescent. Thisarticle focuses on the growth of adolescents in divorced single-parent families parent-childrelationship problems. Parent-child relationship is one of the most important and the mostbasic relationships in the family, adolescent teenagers, because is in growth phase, emotionalstability is poorer, especially easy to cause contradictions and conflicts between the parentsand children, and even affect their physical and mental development.Existing research shows that the single parent family adolescent children’s intellectualdevelopment, emotional, emotional development, personality development, psychologicalhealth and social development have different degree of obstacles, single-parent familiesteenager children prone to negative emotions, adverse emotional and mental health problems.These on the one hand, is not conducive to the healthy growth of teenagers single-parentfamilies, on the other hand also hindered the single-parent family establish healthy andharmonious parenthood.The author, by applying the method of depth interview to the case study of a number ofdivorced single-parent family system understand the divorced single-parent familiesparent-child relationship situation, existing problems and negative effects. The study foundthat divorced single-parent families parent-child relationship problems mainly forcommunication between parents and children, parent-child conflict and single parents neglectof their children, etc. And these problems are economic pressures from the divorcedsingle-parent families, divorced single-parent family upbringing, negative public opinionaspects of the cause. The author through the use of social work of professional knowledge andskills, the divorced single-parent families adolescent parent-child relationship between thesocial work intervention for exploratory research, put forward and proved to the parent-child relationship problems of single-parent families provide professional social work service idea,method and content.
