The Research On Situation And Countermeasures Of Network-dependent Behaviour Among College Students

The fundamental task of colleges and universities in our country is to train high-qualifiedpersonnel for the socialist modernization. Colleges and universities are the cradle of excellentsocialist builders and successors; they are in the supremacy of the science and civilizationconstruction. Under the global information age, network has a huge impact and influence oncolleges and universities as a forefront of technological development; the importance of thenetwork in university life continues to highlight; it has been changing and affectingcontemporary college students’ study life, thinking pattern, morality and value orientation.Network-dependent behaviour has inevitably appeared among college students.Network-dependent phenomenon has seriously affected the normal life and study of collegestudents; some of them even turned to crime. This not only hinders the growth anddevelopment of the students, affects the normal management order of the universities,adversely affects the construction of a harmonious campus, also to a certain extent, affects thequality of higher education, and has become a big obstacle to cultivate high-quality, all-roundtalent. Therefore, it is quite necessary to concern for the statuses of the network-dependentbehavior, study their thoughts and behavior characteristics, dig out the reasons for theformation of network dependent phenomenon and then propose reasonable and targetedintervention countermeasures. It is also of great significance to guide students to the correctuse of the network, help them grow up healthy and talented, as well to solve theNetwork-dependent phenomenon through effective ways, which is also an urgent problem thatthe higher education is facing and needs to be solved quickly.This paper is based on Marx’s human full scale development theory, and it upholds thepeople-oriented concept, insists on emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts andkeeping pace with The Times, targets to foster the new "Four Haves" who can adapt to thesocialist modernization. This paper investigates and analyses the status of the Network-dependent behaviour among current college students and then conducts the studyof intervention countermeasures through the perspective of ideological and political education.First of all, the author consulted to the literatures and analyses the researches onNetwork-dependent behaviour among college students of domestic and foreign experts andscholars, and then defined the concept of network dependence. Secondly, the authorconducted a questionnaire survey on college students of some univers ities in Xi’an; based onthis, the author summarized the characteristics of the Network-dependent behaviour; andthen analyzed the reasons for the formation of Network-dependent behaviour amongcollege students from both external and internal aspects. Finally, based on the problem of howto solve the network dependent phenomenon among college students effectively, the authorproposed Scientific and effective intervention countermeasures through the reference ofresearches from experts and scholars at ho me and abroad.
