Analysis Of Legal Issues Of Virtual Property Inheritance

Virtual property, as an indispensable part in the development of internet industries, ha s legal issues it brings about closely relate to people, among which the virtual propert y inheritance has invoked hot discussion. Albeit no clear-cut stipulation has been form ulated of virtual property in the national legislation, a unified idea regarding the prope rty characteristics of virtual property has been formed in the theory field. Thanks to th is, the inheritability of virtual property is also widely accepted. However, no unified p ractice has been agreed upon of how to inherit virtual property. This thesis aims to co mpare the typical features of virtual property with those of general property, and dig o ut the uniqueness of virtual property, based on which a type classification of this prop erty is made on the purpose of properly resolving problems which occur in the inherit ance of various types of virtual property by means of property value evaluation, herita ge division, etc.
