The women belonging to the minority group have not been a subject discussed or concerned. Minority Women were born with dual identities both a woman and a minority person. They usually suffer from the terrible oppression and unequal treatment as a woman no matter in the family or outside, in public areas or privacy occasion; they may confront with the situation that their minority group’s right of language, culture and even the life would be deprived since they are charged and controlled by the majority group. As a result, the Minority Women will suffer double discriminations as a minority person and a woman. It is more anxious that they would be exposed to treble discriminations or multiple discriminations when such discrimination stem from the culture of their own minority group. The Minority women would experience deeper challenges and barriers when such discriminations stem from the culture of their own minority group.The author showed the conflict between the minority culture and minority women’s human rights, the method to the conflict has proposed in the Paper.Severn parts contained to research are as follow:In the first part, the author explained the cause why she choose this subject and analyzed the current research situation. The innovative ideas are put forwarded in this part.The second part of this Paper, the author introduced the definition of the Minority, and tried to define the Minority Women from the angel of the aim and intention of this Paper.In thirdly part, the Minority Culture and Right of Culture were explained in this part. The author made a conclusion that not all the minority culture is equal and lawful by analyzing the minority culture and the right of culture in the perspective of international human rights law theory. The minority women were born with their human rights rather than obtained by their minority culture.In the fourth part, proved by the facts that a large number of minority women have substantially suffered from customs and habits caused by minority culture, such harmful culture have taken enormous negative influence on the minority women. The listed facts included both the cases occurred in foreign counties and existed in China minority areas for a long term.In the fifth part, the author demonstrated the legitimacy of minority’s human rights from the aspects of the principle of equality, non-discrimination and the group and individual rights.In the sixed part of the Paper, the Paper highlighted the necessary of bridging the cultural barriers for protecting the minority women’s human rights by showing the harmful cultural practices are in violation of the international human rights.At the last part, the author argued how to bridge the cultural barriers and the challenges which may appear in this process combining the feminist scholar’s prospective and her personal thinking. The practices which are listed in the end would be showed the prospect and expectation that we do break, revise and replace the destructive and harmful practices.
