As China became an aging society, how to meet the growing demand for diversified pension was not only the inevitable requirement of maintaining social harmony, but also was an import opportunity to expand domestic demand and upgrade tourist industry. In recent years, Elderly Long-Stay Tourism which was a new type of tourism and endowment had become a new hot spot, but there were a lot of problems with its high-speed development. Elderly long-stay tourism destination had different development levels. Local governments mainly focused on the economic benefit of elderly long-stay tourism and not prepared for the other influence. The scholar’s also focused on the concept of elderly long-stay tourism, the tourism market of old-age pension and other aspects. The research about the impact of elderly long-stay was less. The residents as an important participant and an undertaker for impacts of tourism had an important significance for the sustainable development of elderly long-stay tourism. Based on the clarification of elderly long-stay tourism concepts and development modes, taking questionnaire survey and interview in Guantou Village and Jingshan Village, this paper discussed residents’perception of tourism impact from economic, culture and environment and the factors which leading to the difference among the people. This paper also makes a discussion on the problems appeared in the course of tourism development. The main conclusions drawn in this article:(1)Elderly long-stay tourism was a new type of tourism product. It had the characteristics that consumers are mainly the younger older, seasonal tours and stay a long time in destination. According to the degree of community participation level, elderly long-stay tourism destination can be divided into two kinds of development model of endogenous and exogenous.(2)According to mean comparison, the residents’perceptions on tourism effects and attitude to tourism development were positive. The residents’attitudes to tourism are also positive and they had a harmonious relationship to visitors.(3)Based on mean comparison and spearman correlation analysis, it was found that different develop mode,different stages, different demographics, different levels of tourism participation and different levels of community attachment effected residents’ perception of elderly long-stay tourism impact.(4)According to cluster analysis, the residents in the study area can be divided into advocates, contradiction and rational supporters. Rational supporters accounted for the largest proportion; they had a rational understanding of tourism negative effects. There are some doubts and fears to the contradiction for the development of tourism.(5)On the basis of the common sense state of elderly long-stay tourism’s residents, gave some suggestion to the tourism sustainable development as following:pay attention to the reasonable allocation of tourism income; integrate tourism resources, increase the service for the aged; gave full play to existing benefit of the brand, improve added value of elderly long-stay tourism.
