The Exploration About The Linguistic Form Of Ink And Wash In My Creation

With the development of history and the accumulation of culture, the expression form of the ink wash language, which is the essence specific to Chinese culture, has gradually become mature and even reached the summit. As everything keeps changing and developing, a language system also has its stability and variability and sometimes can be differentiated into several language systems. Chinese traditional ink wash painting is a kind of mature and complete painting form. However, with the inflow of western culture in recent hundreds of years, the oriental culture has experienced the collision, fusion, separation and re-fusion with western culture, which set off several waves of discussion on the language form of paintings. Nowadays, the “contemporary ink wash painting” does not only refer to Chinese ink wash painting with contemporary features, and its.dissemination medium have been extended to devices, photography, body art and carious kinds of new media forms. It has become a sign that symbolizes the essence of Chinese culture. This paper will take Chinese traditional ink wash painting and contemporary ink wash language forms as the research subject, make cross-references to them, and then elaborate the changes of the traditional ink wash language under contemporary linguistic circumstance, the advent of contemporary ink wash forms as well as the problems and developing direction in the constant changes. The author will, combine the traditional ink wash painting techniques and contemporary ink wash spirit during the process of creation. Through a large amount of practice, integration and accumulation, the author will take the principle of “absorbing others into mine”, work and learn hard while composing, and strive to build a personal painting language form.
