Foreign Chinese teaching is an activity which teaches people who are non-native speakers. It aims at developing the students’ ability to read and communicate with Chinese. Reading is a ladder of students’ progress in learning English and reading practice is also an important part for foreign students to get language knowledges. In the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, words practice is an effective course in the primary stage, which is helpful for students to overcome language barriers,overcome the problem of learning words and master more Chinese words, more importantly, to lay the foundation for the next step of learning(the ability to understand the text and the chapter). Chinese teachers need to ensure the effectiveness of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. First of all, teachers had to be aware of the importance of words practice in reading courses of primary stage and know the relationship between Chinese learning and reading for foreign students and the requirements for teaching tasks in reading courses.Next, it’s necessary to investigate and analyze the test amount and type of words practice in textbooks, to know intimately the setting of using test questions, the test amount and the proportion of test in words practice.Finally, to research the implemented strategy in primary reading course of words practice, which is based on the theory of reading practice guided by related theories, apply the interaction between reading mode and schema theory to strengthen the cognition of words; Taking the reasonable choice of words practice as the necessary consideration; In the filed of implementation strategy, using the exercises suited for students and the high repetition rate and helpful questions to rich the words practice; Catching three keys among the preparation before class, teaching in class and arranging the task of words practice. In the stage of preparation before class, firstly,clearing teaching objectives,secondly, knowing the condition of students, thirdly,catching the teaching key points,and the last one is to arrange the time of practice reasonably; In the stage of words practice in class, it’s important to get the key points of practice and divide the words, take the key words for students to draw the memory table and comb the knowledge they have learned,combine the teaching content and the key words to carry on the perception,use the knowledge table to learn,choose the typical sentence to do the practice of splitting words,and finally, use the group interaction to improve the ability of Chinese language expression; In the stage of arranging the task of words practice,one is to set the useful homework that related to words practice, the other is to do the test evaluation of the words.Only grasp the above links firmly can we achieve the teaching expectations truly.
