Study On The Cultural Exchanges And Cooperation Between Xinjiang, China And The Five Central Asian Countries

It is of great significance to study the cultural exchange and cooperation between Xinjiang, China and the five central Asian c ountries in order to build the “Silk Road Economic Belt” as well as to serve th e national overall diplom acy and econom ic construction of China. Taking culture as a link can gain recognition from people in the region of Central Asia, which can e nhance understanding and win the trust and create regional favorable cooperation environment. With the m ethods of interdisciplinary, literature review and induction and deduct ion, this paper studies on cultural exchanges and coope ration between Xinjiang, C hina and the five Central Asian countries. It holds that the cu ltural exchanges and cooperation between Xinjiang, China and the five countries in Central Asia has already had a good foundation, we have built m any platforms recent years and condu cted a lot of exchanges and cooperation in the fields of art perform ances, thematic exhibitions, education, sports and tourism. The content a nd fields have been expanded a lot, the predominance of government has been enhanced significantly and the brand effect of Chinese culture spread ha s been strengthened. On one hand, the geographical advantages of Xinjiang, China have been fully released, a lot of policy support has been provided for the cultural exchanges a nd cooperation and the goal of the cultural exchanges and cooperation becam e clear and definite; On the other hand, the development of culture undertakings of Xinjiang rem ains backward. The non-governmental exchanges still have a long way to go. Mean while, we also need to pay more attention on the culture protection. This paper holds that we should further strengthen cultural cooperation and excha nges between Xinjiang, China and the five countries in Central Asia in the fields of Chinese culture prom oting, education, tourism and sports. In order to conduct cultural cooperation and exchanges effectively, we should create a good environment for cu ltural cooperation and exchanges. T he government should further im prove the publicity work, innovate the m echanism of cultural development, focus on the developm ent and utilization of cultural resources, build cultural brand and attach more importance to the study on the culture of the five Central Asian countries.
