The first chapter starts from the “second world”of Bakhtin carnival, and combs the carnival scene in Shen Congwen’s novels. We will folklore and aesthetics combined into text research among, summed up the novel roughly ethnic festivals, their ancestors and gods, the harvest labor, love marriage, four kind of Carnival scenes. The carnival scene filled the carnival atmosphere with the carnival, expressing the carnival style of the world and the ideal of the carnival and the spirit of the change, death and the spirit of the new spirit.
