Clinical Study On Treating Abdominal Distension After Lumbar Vertebrae Of Thoracic Vertebrae Fracture With Xiaochengqi Decoction

Object:This trial was designed to change the way of treatment from oral medication to intestines medication, to explore the efficiency of intestines medication with Xiaochengqi decoction treatment, and to find a higher efficiency, less suffering and easier acceptance way for the patients of abdominal distension after lumbar vertebrae of thoracic vertebrae fracture, then to raise a practicable treatment-plan for abdominal distension after lumbar vertebrae of thoracic vertebrae fracture.Methods:60 cases were divided randomly 1:1 into two groups. The treatment group was given Xiaochengqi decoction enema treatment, and the controlled group was given soapsuds enema treatment. After one hour and six hours treatment, their cirdinal and minor symptom scores and accumulated scores were compaired and analysised, their clinical effect were observed and evaluated with symptom scores, and side-effects also were observed.Result:Both the accumulated scores of the two groups were reduced after one hour and six hours treatment. The results suggested there was a significant difference of accumulated scores and the therapeutic effects between and in two groups after one hour, six hours treatment.And the treatment group were better than controlled group with p< 0.05 comparatively statistic significance.Conclusion:The present trail indicates that both the two treatments have beneficial effects on abdominal distension after lumbar vertebrae of thoracic vertebrae in cirdinal and minor symptom. In addition, the treatment group was more significant in therapeutic effect. They both had no side-effect.
