It is highly efficient and low toxicity. Recently, more and more new clinical uses are reported.The used synthetic routes now for mifepristone are relatively long with low yields. Herein we raised a new route to total synthesize mifepristone. It uses a bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane derivative to achieve stereoselectivity and accomplishes the ABC rings in one step.
