Purpose: To explore the current situation and influencing factors of respiratory tract infection rate after congenital heart disease interventional operation, discuss the influence of Quality Control Circle(QCC) on the respiratory tract infection rate after congenital heart disease interventional operation of children and provide theoretical basis for department nursing quality management and health education conducted by clinical nurses.Object: The children with congenital heart disease who hospitalized in Cardiovascular Medicine Department of a Grade Three A Children Hospital in Chongqing from July 2014 to November 2015, received surgical treatment of congenital heart disease interventional operation and met the inclusive criteria of cases.Method: The above objects of the study receiving the congenital heart disease interventional operation from July 2014 to November were set as control group, and those receiving the congenital heart disease interventional operation from July 2015 to November were set as the experimental group. Standardized intervention was conducted on the experimental group through QCC technique. The infection rates of the two groups before and after the intervention were compared. Results: Through the Standardized intervention of QCC, the respiratory tract infection rate after congenital heart disease interventional operation reduced to 4.15% from 10.22% before the intervention; the target yield rate reached 92.81%, and improvement rate reached 59.39%.Conclusion: The respiratory tract infection rate of the children after the congenital heart disease interventional operation stayed at higher levels before the improvement. The standardized intervention of QCC and scientific management methods effectively reduced respiratory tract infection rate, improve the all kinds of ability and cohesion of the circle members, and provide basis and reference for the continuous quality improvement of medical treatment, the implementation of clinical nursing pathway, and the health education by cardiovascular nurses to conduct congenital heart disease interventional operation.
