| Tramatic subdural effusion(TSE),one of the most common complications in neurosurgery, often occurs after cranium trauma and decompressive craniotomy.Most patients with SDE have no sympatoms and conservative treatment with following-up CT scanning is the first treatment for them to avoid the unpredictable consequences of unnecessary surgery.For patients with obvious neurologic symptoms or progressive increased intracranial pressure, surgery seems to be the best treatment.Nevertheless,the pathogenesis and the best management of SDE is still unknown completely so far.This article has summarized the latest research progress of SDE,hoping to provide more evidence for clinical management and further standerize the threatment of SDE to improve the prognosis of patients. |
