Objects:We aim to learn the expression level of SPARC in non-small cell lung cancer patients and investigate whether the expression of SPARC in NSCLC patients can predict the effect of nab-paclitaxel.Methods:The study included 53 NSCLC patients. The expression of SPARC in their pathological tissues were detected. The effects would be evaluated after all the patients received two cycles of nab-paclitaxel monotherapy.Result:1.The positive rate of SPARC in patients with non-small cell lung cancer was54.7%,which was not related to the gender, age, smoking history, tumor size.2.The response rate of chemotherapy in patients with postive expression of SPARC was 44.8% and patients with negative expression of SPARC was 33.3%.The difference was not statistically significant(P=0.128).Conclusion:The expression of SPARC in patients with non-small cell lung cancer was not associated with the efficacy of nab-paclitaxel.
