Objective:To exame the alterations of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3, Th17 cells and CD4+T regulatory cells in peripheral blood in patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis and discuss their relationships and to provide basis for researching the pathogenesis and clinical treatmentment of hepatitis B cirrhosis.Methods:21 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis and 15 healthy volunteers were included in the study. Electrochemilumines-cence immunoassay was used to detected the level of25-hydroxyvitamin D3. Flow cytometry was employed to count the Th17 cell and CD4+Treg cell in the peripheral blood mononuclear cell. And than calculate the ratio of Th17 / Treg.Results:1. Compared with normal control group(31.874±5.976ng/ml), patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis( 11.897±6.047ng/ml) had a marked decrease in peripheral blood25-hydroxyvitamin D3 concentrations, the difference was statistically significant(t =9.510, P = 0.001).2. Patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis(2.498% ±2.583%) had a marked increase in peripheral blood Th17 cell levels when compared with normal control group(0.913%±0.216%). In hepatitis B cirrhosis Patients peripheral blood(2.333%±1.714%),CD4+Treg level was lower than healthy control group(3.964%±1.116%). Compared with normal control group(0.256±0.138), patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis(1.199±0.973)had a marked decrease in peripheral blood in the ratio of Th17 / Treg. And all the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05).Conclusion:Patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis had a marked decrease in peripheral blood25-hydroxyvitamin D3 concentrations, the cell levels of Th17 increased, the cell levels of CD4+Treg decreased and the ratio of Th17 / Treg increased. There exists immune status disorders of Th17, CD4+Treg and the ratio of Th17 / Treg in hepatitis B cirrhosis Patients.Increased peripheral blood level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 may adjust the alterations in hepatitis B cirrhosis Patients. And thus may improve the liver immune status.
